Botanical prints are so in right now… and how not to adore them?!
They are not just brilliant to bring the outside in… They are also a beautiful and easy way to update your walls and give your home some soul!!!
They look great just taped on the wall with some funky washi tape (perfect if you are on rent), or you can frame them for a more classic look (maybe with some vintage old brass or wooden frames?!).
Group together prints of different sizes on frames of different finishes and textures (or washi tapes in a variety of colours and patterns). This will keep the collection more interesting and less formal… It will also give it an edge and bring a contemporary feel to it!
And if you would love an extra touch of personality… just create a wall gallery, mixing them up with some gorgeous wall decor and planters (what a great excuse to hit the flea market!).
Just don’t forget that when creating a wall gallery, try to add in some unexpected items, things that you wouldn’t necessarily link to wall decor… like a bunch of dried flowers hanging upside down or a vintage wooden paint brush for example.
I know… it sounds a bit weird… but that is the point! What may be a bit weird to you… makes total sense to me!
For example, I LOVE flowers and upcycling furniture… so having some dried flowers and a battered paint brush hanging on the wall, totally resonates with who I’m am! And it instantly connects me to my home… giving it a soul and a style that is unique and refreshing to me!
And how about you? What do you love? What unexpected objects can you add to your gallery? Don’t forget… always think outside the box!
I have put together a collection of gorgeous vintage botanical prints, for you to download and print them out.
You can print them at home on some white card paper (I love the textured ones) or have them printed by a professional printer.
Whatever way you choose to display them, I hope these printables will bring lots of joy to you and your home!
Now… if you haven’t downloaded them yet… go on and grab these beauties! And don’t forget to show me what you came up with… just use the tag #designedbyablueberry and you will make me SO happy for letting me take a peek!!!
